TROISIEME BALLON SOLAIRE du BRAQ le 24 mars 2013



BRAQ 2013-3   Ballons Solaires : 

 
Après deux lancements faits pour le fun avec peu d'équipement pour apprendre comment ça fonctionne, je crois que nous devons essayer des lancements avec nos équipements réguliers, et voir si nous pouvons faire aussi bien. Ce lancement sera donc avec une balise morse permettant de faire descendre la charge après une courte envolée de 30 minutes, un système de tracker en APRS, et un caméscope.

Lors des 2 précédents vols, nous avons réalisé que 60 minutes de vol, c'est beaucoup trop, car nous ne lançons pas de nos sites habituels. Lançant d'un vaste champ près de St-Valérien, nous ne disposons pas de la même distance, avant que le ballon ne soit rendu près des régions boisées, ou au delà de la frontière.
En utilisant ce site, nous sommes également plus loin des zones plus achalandées de trafic aérien, bien que je ne pense pas que ce type de ballon soit plus dangereux que les ballons avec hélium qui eux peuvent apporter des charges plus lourdes et qui sont bien moins visibles.
Le temps de vol a été raccourci à 30 minutes et devrait nous permettre une altitude d'environ 15,000' et nous permettre de garder un contact visuel, et de récupérer les équipements.

Le BRAQ lance un ballon solaire le 18 mars 2013


Je vais lancer un autre ballon solaire ce matin, avec juste une balise FRS
sur 462,5625, et un fuser pour un vol de 45 minutes, descente en parachute.

Je vais tenter de le récupérer avec seulement le RDF s’il n’est pas trop
loin d’un chemin.
